Description
Summary
We are looking to recruit an experienced Buildings Maintenance Supervisor to organise and manage maintenance work alongside small and medium (up to £200,000) sized projects. Working across Buckinghamshire and Berkshire. Encompassing residential, commercial and agricultural property that are occupied by our tenants, as well as holiday cottages.
This is a supervisory role. The successful applicant will not be “on the tools”.
We place our work out to external contractors and the role requires you to be able to develop, and manage, productive working relationships with contactors.
We are looking for someone who has a solid working history and practical understanding of property maintenance of listed and old buildings, and who is able to diagnose problems and find solutions. The work planning is wide and varied.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity. Salary will be £41,000 including additional allowances

What you'll be doing
You will manage day to day repairs to our properties, through to cottage refurbishments and village wide repairs and redecoration programmes.
The role requires strong demonstrable experience in managing delegated budgets, and ensuring maintenance works and projects are delivered on budget and on time.
