You will be working within a specialist day service provision for adults/young adults which focuses on building quality of life by designing bespoke weekly programmes for the supported individuals, ensuring that they have regular access to their local community, social inclusion and opportunities to develop leisure skills.

The individuals we support have various interests and hobbies which they love you to get involved with such as going to the cinemas, arts and crafts or baking!

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this role, you will need to have at least 6 months experience in either a social care setting or working with including learning disabilities. You must be able to commit to 32.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday 9am-3:30pm) and it is essential that you are able to provide 2 references.

What you'll get in return

There is opportunity to work on either a temporary basis or a longer term temporary to permanent role. You will be paid an hourly rate of £10.65 per hour and enhanced rates for bank holidays. You will be working within a strong staff support network with a community atmosphere and provided with up to date training.
