We are looking for an experienced Marketing professional to lead on strategic marketing projects across CRUK.
This role is an exciting opportunity to take responsibility to accelerate digital marketing methodologies and make change happen at Cancer Research UK (CRUK). In this role you will lead on strategic digital change projects across marketing and the wider organisation that improve and optimise our digital marketing activity and support the shift to a centralised, audience-led, digital model for marketing. You will work as an exceptional change agent, alongside senior leaders and teams in our Marketing, Fundraising & Engagement directorate (MFE), to understand how we can deliver digital marketing strategies better and more effectively. This role will drive change across the whole portfolio - right from providing information on cancer, to engaging our supporter audiences.
In this role you will:
Lead on strategic marketing programmes and projects across a range of key areas, including brand, planning, strategy, digital, delivery, insight, content, creative and processes
Be the marketing representative and expert on key cross-org programmes of work
Support the move towards a new marketing model and way of working, working closely with the new planning team on key projects that enable this shift
Put our audiences and supporters at the heart of all projects and activity, ensuring supporter insight and experience is prioritised in projects
Identify opportunities to improve our marketing outputs or ways of working, looking to enable a shift to more digital, automated and personalised marketing
Work with senior stakeholders across the organisation to understand organisational marketing priorities and the goals and challenges of their areas
Look externally at the market and ensure knowledge is shared to support the development of a future-facing marketing department
Work with stakeholders across Marketing Fundraising & Engagement (MFE), Policy, Information & communications (PIC) and Research & Innovation (R&I) to ensure we are taking a holistic, one CRUK approach to engaging our audiences
Ensure equality and diversity is celebrated and considered as part of all decisions taken
Committed to Cancer Research UK's vision to bring forward the day all cancers are cured.
