We are looking for an individual who ideally has previous SEN experience or someone who has a keen interest in this area of work. This position is perfect if you are looking to gain more experience to begin a career within SEN.
The school is located in the Barry area and offers good transport links. They are searching for an organised, motivated SEN teaching assistant to join full time starting September 2022.
You will be required to support students 1:1 with a range of SEN needs. You will work with pupils on a daily basis providing individual assistance and encouragement with learning across the whole learning curriculum.
This role would be suitable for both experienced TA's who have previously worked in SEN schools and TA's who are looking to gain more experience in this area, or have a keen interest in this area of work.
The ideal candidate:
- Has previous experience working with SEN
- Has classroom based experience
- Is patient and friendly
- Has the ability to work as part of a bigger team and is happy to work on individual initiatives
