SEN Teacher / ECT
Autism Specialist School - Headington, Oxfordshire - Teaching KS 3, 4 and post 16 - September 2022 - MPS/UPS (£145 to £225 daily) - Role is open to experienced or Early Career Teacher

We are currently supporting a fantastic specialist school for young people with Autism and severe learning difficulties, who provide a focused environment to help their pupils thrive. They are looking for an inspirational Teacher or ECT to come in provide an excellent framework of education for these pupils to progress.
***SEN Teacher or ECT - Autism Specialist School - Headington, Oxfordshire
***QTS (or expect to gain this before September) and experience working with children with autism is essential
***Long term to permanent role starting in September 2022
***MPS 1 to UPS 3 - Equivalent daily amount: £145 to £225
About the Academy
Developed in partnership with an Academy Trust and Oxfordshire County Council, the school was established to meet the needs of local students and their families. The Academy has a person specific curriculum for students; meeting their individual needs with the aim of providing everyday skills to help the pupils lead an independent life. These skills will not only contribute to the pupils leading independent lives, but also purposeful ones. This is where the Academy are looking for an exceptional and innovative teacher to join this ambitious school, at an exciting time of growth having recently completed its second year.
Role requirements
- QTS and demonstrable experience working with children with Autism or severe learning difficulties Knowledge of working with accreditation boards such as ASDAN and AQAKeen for further professional developmentEmpathetic, flexible and caring natureFantastic communicator, conveying the aims and visions of the school to all stakeholdersCommitted to a long-term role that could become permanent
