Job Title: Senior Land Rights Officer / Senior Surveyor

Location: UK Wide (Bristol)

We are an independently owned Chartered Surveying practice who provide a comprehensive range of surveying and property services.

We've taken on new, innovative ways of working to deliver our services and we've created a new strategy to target key areas of growth for the business, resulting in the launch our new Utilities and Infrastructure team, our new National Valuation Team and further development for our Rural team whilst bolstering our activity in commercial, planning and development.

The Position:

Due to significant growth within our Utilities and Infrastructure business we are looking to appoint Surveyors and Land Rights Officers in the South West (Bristol to Exeter region). Main duties are to undertake the Acquisition of Land/Rights in Land and carry out Compensation work including Utility and Infrastructure projects which are nationally significant.

There will also be other major and minor transport, gas, water and electricity schemes where appropriate fee income is generated for the business.

Main Responsibilities, Tasks and Key Duties:

  • To deliver a high-quality service to clients, team colleagues and other business teams
  • To provide appropriate assistance, technical skills and services to the team
  • To supervise Graduates/Trainee Land Rights Officers and their deliverables
  • To assist in the delivery of specific activities set - this may include on site work such as records of condition etc and to work with high attention to detail
  • To attend training sessions and team meetings and to maintain an appropriate schedule of training needs and achievements
  • To ensure that the appropriate Quality assurance and Health and Safety standards are met
  • To be an ambassador for Bruton Knowles both internally and externally
