The starting salary for this role is £47,826 - £60,186 per annum for working full-time (teachers' terms and conditions). This is a 12-month fixed term contract.

The Hope Service is a multi-agency service for young people age 11-18 who are experiencing complex mental health, emotional, social, and behavioural challenges. It is based across 2 sites, Epsom and Guildford. We also have Extended Hope which is a short-term residential home for young people to be assessed and supported in a safe environment for 7/10 days, and also provide out of hours emergency support.

This is a full-time post (Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm) across the 2 sites, Epsom and Guildford. You will enjoy the same term dates/holidays as an education provision. Your Line Manager will be the General Manager at Hope.
Hope is a partnership between health services, children’s services, and education, who work together to provide support to our young people and the community and through the daytime provision where you will be based overseeing the teachers. The team is made up of Social Workers, Nurses, Teachers, Psychologists, Art and Drama Therapists, Psychiatrists, Systemic Family Workers, and Activity Workers.
At our previous inspection we were rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted.
To be shortlisted to interview for this position your application will clearly evidence:
- Qualified Teacher Status.
- Experience of working within education.
- Experience of line managing teachers.
- The confidence to facilitate Ofsted Inspections and liaise with partner agencies.
- An ability to work alongside children and young people experiencing challenging mental health episodes.
- Flexibility to work across 2 sites, Epsom and Guildford.
