The role:
At the SRA, keeping money launderers and financial crime out of legal services has long been a priority. Anti-money laundering (AML) in the legal sector is seeing rapid change, with the adoption of legal technology and more recently the evolving sanctions requirements on law firms.

You will also make your contributions to reports, consultation papers, policy documents, committee and board papers on the topic of AML. There is some scope for participating in external events, for example by participating in conferences or roundtables.
This role has responsibility to deliver a rolling programme of AML training to staff of existing and upcoming requirements. This will require engagement with people from all levels of the organisation, to coordinate, and where necessary deliver AML training to all teams.
What's in it for you:
- Be a key contributor to the development, delivery and implementation of AML policies impacting the legal services market
- Contribute to a new and growing team, where there is a chance not only to develop your work, but the wider work of the organisation
- Lead on the development and roll out of AML training across the organisation
- Develop knowledge of AML legislation, best practice and risks
What we are looking for:
