Description

Is encouraging and motivating people your superpower?

Could your passion for fundraising inspire supporters to raise the vital funds needed to help save young people's lives?

Working for the UK's leading charity dedicated to the prevention of young suicide, the biggest killer of people aged 35, you agree with our client that suicide can be preventable with the right support and education.

As Community Fundraising Officer, you'll help to fund the incredible HopelineUK ensuring it's staffed with highly-trained suicide prevention advisers. You'll raise money for education and training to create suicide-safer communities, and press for change to current legislation.

Salary: £25,419 - £28,336 per annum

Hours: 36 hours per week, flexible working or 4 days considered

Location: Hybrid, office in Warrington

About the role:

To allow our client to continue to provide and grow this vital support, you'll develop and maintain long-term and mutually beneficial relationships with volunteer fundraisers. Through individual giving and in-aid of events, your brilliant stewardship will support, motivate and inspire a team of passionate supporters with creative and innovative fundraising ideas.

About the person:

Ideally, you've already got fundraising experience in community or volunteer management.

However, we'd also welcome applications from people with transferable skills e.g. events, business development or account management wanting to take their first step into the charity sector.

Many of our client's supporters are people whose lives have been touched in some way by suicide, so we're looking for someone who is empathetic and has exceptional communication skills.

You'll also need to be highly organised and able to juggle multiple priorities, have access to a car and a full UK driving license.
