Job Description
Our client is looking for a Sales Manager to take responsibility of an existing inside sales team as well as building a new commercial team whilst also driving sales directly themselves.
- Building and developing their own team, responsible for the recruitment, training and development of their team across the Commercial, Housing Association and Student Accommodation sectors
- Generate and develop sales of heating systems selling through networks in Housing Associations, Student Accommodation, Developers, Contractors, M&E Consultants, Specifiers and Architects
- Provide solution packages with an in-depth understanding of customer needs, usages and installation requirements
- New product introductions, find and build new business opportunities
- Work with Technical Engineers to create installation plans
The Successful Applicant
- Previous experience of successfully managing a team is crucial for this position
- Relevant knowledge of the heating sector would be advantageous
- Proven track record of selling into Social Housing, University Student Accommodation or working with M&E Consultants, Contractors, Specifiers or Architects
- Excellent communication skills including negotiating and influencing skills
- Highly focused on business targets
- Excellent leader, motivator, and mentor
- A strong business acumen to understand and deliver the long term goals of Trust
- Highly focused and capable of sustaining excellent performance in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Experience of using a CRM systems as well as managing a teams performance of CRM usage
