ASC Teaching Assistant | Enfield
Ribbons & Reeves partner Primary School in Enfield are looking for a compassionate, creative and experienced ASC Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis supporting a student with autism and learning difficulties as well as a some general Teaching Assistant time. This ASC Teaching Assistant role will require you to support students with their learning, development and emotions whilst working closely with the schools SENDCo.
The school have been rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted. The recent Ofsted report states “The leadership team has maintained the good quality of education in the school since the last inspection. You have worked with great determination so that pupils’ learning can thrive in a safe and secure environment.”
- First-Class Psychology-related degree
- ASC Teaching Assistant
- Lovely Primary school in the Enfield Area
- Previous experience supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition or a strong understanding of ASC
- Monday-Friday, 8:30-4pm - Full Time
- £20,520 pro rata, paid weekly on a PAYE basis
Your aim as an ASC Teaching Assistant will be to work with and support students both inside and outside the classroom. You will play a key part in helping theses students boost their capabilities by providing both academic and emotional support ensuring they have a safe a positive environment to learn in. As an ASC Teaching Assistant, you will be supported by the network of the SEN team in the school. You will need to have a positive attitude and the resilience to be able to handle challenging moments with patience and understanding.
