Description
The British Psychological Society is advertising a fantastic opportunity for a marketing professional to join our marketing team. As the marketing strategy develops, as Marketing Executive, you will have the opportunity to influence how marketing is delivered across the organisation. This role can be based from our Leicester or London office, where we are currently operating a hybrid working policy.
You will have the opportunity to work on marketing campaigns across the whole marketing mix, from traditional print media to digital marketing channels in order to achieve results. From communicating with our 65,000 members, helping with income generation and supporting the public and professional voice of psychology, you’ll be able to get stuck in to a wide range of exciting marketing projects to help us continue driving the organisation forward.
We’re looking for someone who can:
- Hit the ground running and support our organisational strategy through effective marketing
- Deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns from brief to completion
- Write creative and engaging copy that’s tailored to each marketing channel
- Plan, create and deliver email marketing campaigns
- Support the planning and delivery of paid social media campaigns
- Use data and insight to understand our members in order to deliver effective, targeted marketing campaigns that meet their needs
- Project manage efficiently and be relied upon to complete projects on time and on budget
- Develop excellent relationships with key internal stakeholders
- Be innovative and confident in bringing new ideas to the team
Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- Educated to degree level-standard
- Confident in managing multiple projects at the same time
- Knowledge of marketing, design and branding principles
- Understand how data and insight can be used to inform marketing
- A keen eye for detail
- Excellent literacy and copywriting skills
- Knowledge of email marketing platforms
- Experience of working collaboratively
