Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Business Support Executive on a full time, permanent basis based in Waterloo. In return you will receive a competitive salary of £30,000 - £32,000 per annum.
Please note, this is a hybrid role, although you will be required to work from the office at least 3 days a week.
About the Graduate Business Support Executive role:
Our client have a fantastic opportunity for a recent Graduate to join the team as aGraduate Business Support Executive, they are seeking someone who is able to provide proactive business administration and research support to the Chief Executive on projects, strategic planning and operational activity for the CEO Office.
What they are looking for in their Graduate Business Support Executive:
- Degree required (any specialism, but may suit business, economics, housing, politics, environmental graduate)
- Demonstrable ability to understand and act upon complex organisational, legislative and regulatory issues
- Research, policy development and writing skills
- Experience of using Microsoft Office packages
- Attention to detail and ability to work on a variety of tasks simultaneously
- Good numerical and analytical skills
- Ability to develop and manage diverse relationships with business partners, government departments, and other statutory and regulatory bodies
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and written skills with the ability to influence and negotiate when required, liaise effectively, and prepare and present reports internally and externally
- A positive, assertive and resilient approach to prioritising and juggling varying pressures and conflicting priorities
What you can expect to be doing as their Graduate Business Support Executive:
- Provide business support to the Chief Executive to prepare for the meetings; including working with the ESM to coordinate and prepare briefings, reports and general work required for internal/external meetings
- Research and prepare reports and briefings for the Chief Executive, in collaboration with the Communications Team
- Assist with communications coming from the CEO office, such as newsletters and committee minute summaries
- Work with departmental policy colleagues and managers across the Group to fulfil specific regulatory requirements and respond to consultation papers
- Co-ordinate and, where appropriate, prepare responses to Government and Housing Association policy and consultation documents
- Coordinate the work of the CEO with the G-15
- Research, prepare and draft presentations and briefing notes for the Chief Executive for internal and external events, in collaboration with the Communications Team
- Prepare Leadership Briefings following Executive Team/Board meetings
- Assist the Chief Executive in managing relationships with key external stakeholders and partners
- Assess all formal enquiries or complaints directed to the CEO, determine priority and the proper course of action
- Assist in co-ordinating and planning Executive Team meetings and events
- Provide other support services to the Chief Executive as required including small research projects
