We work closely with a primary school in Cardiff, CF23 seeking a Welsh speaker teaching assistant to join on a full time basis. They are looking for a friendly, confident and organised individual to fill the role. As a teaching assistant, you will be required to support staff and help children with their educational as well as social development across all areas of the curriculum.
What is involved?
- Supporting teachers in managing class behaviour
- Supporting the teacher deliver learning materials
- Preparing the classroom for lessons
- Helping children who need extra support
- Supervising group activities
- Carrying out administrative tasks
You may be asked to work with pupils one on one or do small group work depending on the child's individual needs.
