Birmingham, West Midlands (with regular travel to other West Midlands offices)

Our client provides a range of integration and support services for refugees.
They are now looking for an IT Technician to join their team on a full-time basis, working 37.5 hours per week.

The Role
As an IT Technician, you will work with over 80 users to maintain and monitor IT systems, including remote working solutions, and resolve a range of technical issues quickly and efficiently.
Responding to first-line support, end-user software and hardware queries, you will provide a friendly and professional service via email, phone or face-to-face.
You will be responsible for Office 365 and SharePoint administration and provide excellent end-user support and training for hardware and software. Collaborating with the IT Manager, you will ensure operational security, maintenance and governance.
Additionally, you will:
- Manage new user setup and orientation
- Provide tier one and tier two support and troubleshooting
- Test, implement and deploy Exchange Online
- Implement and support security policies, such as data retention
About You
To be considered as an IT Technician, you will need:
- At least three years of IT experience
- Prior experience in a first or second-line technical product or service-focused support role
- Experience administering Office365, Exchange, Azure Active Directory and SharePoint
- Help desk experience and the ability to provide technical and end-user support
- General knowledge of networking such as IP, DNS and SMTP
- Strong customer service skills
- To hold an IT and/or computer science degree
- A full, valid driving licence
