Food Technology Teacher / Health & Social Care Teacher

Hays Education are a market leader with established and exclusive partnerships with schools across Birmingham. This "GOOD" Secondary School based in Bromsgrove are looking for a Food Technology specialist who will also be willing to teach Health & Social Care to start in September 2022 on a long-term basis. Students, teachers and support staff are expected to work for the common good of the whole community.
Your new role

This role will start in September 2022 on a full-time basis, you will be required to plan and prepare lessons and complete the marking and assessment of pupils' work across KS3 & KS4. You will deliver these lessons in a positive learning environment ensuring all pupils are progressing well and achieving target grades. There is high expectations of students' attainment and behaviour.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess QTS or QTLS and have experience teaching Food Technology within a Secondary School. NQT's will be considered. You will possess excellent behaviour management skills. You will be keen to work as part of a team and share ideas and good practice. You will be available to start as soon as possible and continue on a long-term basis.
