Prospectus is delighted to be partnering with our client, in the recruitment of a new CRM Data and Migrations Team Lead in the central Development Office. This role is offered on a permanent full-time basis, and will report to the Head of Development and Alumni Relations Systems (DARS). It will be known internally as DARS Data and Migration Team Lead.

This new role is the result of a departmental reorganisation within the Development and Alumni Relations Systems Team, which plays a central role underpinning all aspects of the work of the University's Development Office. DARS is a suite of CRM applications that are used to manage customer relationship data in support of the development (fundraising) and alumni relations objectives across the University. These include: Blackbaud CRM, Blackbaud Internet Services and Tableau visual analysis.

Reporting to the Head of DARS, the CRM Data and Migrations Team Lead will be responsible for leading a team focussed on managing data and delivering an ongoing programme of migrations. It plays a key role in harnessing the value of the our client's biggest asset (data), to inform strategy and enhance decision-making through the delivery of management reporting provisions. One of the core elements of the role will be to ensure a professional, collaborative and service-oriented team culture which puts strategic business needs at the heart of all decision making. The postholder will act as an ambassador for DARS, and for the collegiate University.

The successful applicant will have proven experience as a Data Manager or Data Analyst. You will have a demonstrable track record of undertaking detailed analysis of complex data sets, as well as experience creating reporting and visualisations from business requirements. You will have proficiency in implementing tangible improvements to processes, including improvements relating to the management of data. You will have an excellent understanding of data administration and management functions (eg: collection, storage, analysis), and a familiarity with modern database and information system technologies. You should have a proven track record of successfully leading and motivating high-performing teams that deliver excellent standards of customer service, alongside knowledge of legislation, regulation and relevant standards relating to information security and the use of personal data and fundraising (Data Protection Act, Privacy & Electronic Communications Regulations, GDPR, Fundraising Regulator etc). You will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the tenacity and resilience to find solutions to complex and challenging issues.
