Academics are looking for passionate and professional SEN English teachers. Both experienced and newly qualified NQT/ ECT are welcome to get in touch to join our team.

Qualities we are looking for include:

• Excellent behaviour management skills - Having the confidence to manage the classroom you're presented with and implement the schools behaviour policies.
• Confident in both planning lessons and delivering to a variety of abilities.
• Relevant degree.
• Enthusiasm in approach - comfortable teaching both KS3 & KS4 students that may be at a primary academic learning level.

English as a subject provides an outlet for students like no other. Allowing a child's imagination to run free and learn about the evolutional history that has incurred through an ever evolving English language is an incredible thing to be a part of as a teacher.

Working within an SEN environment means that your approach to English as a subject may need to adapt to suit the needs of the children you teach. Ensuring that their educational enrichment is of the highest standard is absolutely crucial.
