About the Role

Fostering Engagement and Recruitment Manager

Salary – (Grade 9): £41,586- £49,674 (£51,717 unconsolidated maximum through performance related progression)

Sutton’s Fostering Team is looking for an experienced Fostering Manager to continue to develop and deliver the foster care engagement and recruitment plan, overseeing and monitoring the assessment process, from initial enquiry to presentation at fostering panel.

Working alongside corporate comms colleagues in developing and leading on a strategy to attract new high-quality foster carers, the successful candidate will liaise with recruitment partners to deliver this plan whilst engaging with the community to promote fostering in Sutton. The successful candidate will present and facilitate marketing recruitment events as well as review the database of enquiries to plan effective campaigns and complete reports. Working under the Fostering Team manager overseeing, managing and quality assuring new foster carers assessments and the recruitment process the manager also acts as panel advisor to the fostering panel.

About You

We welcome applications from individuals with a recognised Social Work qualification, who are SWE registered and who are enthusiastic about fostering and recruitment.

Applicants will need significant and relevant experience in fostering, good knowledge of the fostering recruitment process, experience of project management in the fostering field and developing recruitment strategies with excellent communication skills and good networking skills. Candidates must be driven and be able to work autonomously
