This is an exciting time join the Development team. Philanthropy plays a significant role in the life of the Academy and supports our mission to develop and educate the musicians of tomorrow. In April 2022, we launched our Bicentenary Campaign to raise £60m through philanthropic donations for priorities including scholarships, endowed posts, widening participation and capital projects. The Advancement Information Manager will be heavily involved with our ongoing campaign plans, supporting the Advancement team with its data needs when organising special events, bespoke campaign and appeal donor stewardship and extracting and manipulating data to shine a spotlight on progress in all areas of activity.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Advancement Information Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment to join our successful Development team. This role has responsibility for managing the synchronisation and flow of data across management systems within the Advancement office and across relevant Academy-wide programmes. Producing complex data lists, analysis and actioning data updates will be key elements of the role, as will overseeing regular maintenance and tackling data integrity challenges across the four main data management systems. The ability to analyse lists, communicate and summarise numbers through reporting will be important in this role.
In addition to core analytical and technical skills, you will need to have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of people to be successful in this role. Experience working in a Development team in higher education would be an advantage, and the desire to hit the ground running and make your mark will be crucial.
