Salary: £22,143 per annum (depending on skills and experience) + London allowance of £3,600 (if applicable)
Working Hours: 35 per week

Contract: This is a fixed term role for 12 months.
Location: This role is based in Plymouth so you must be located in Plymouth to be considered for this role.

About the role
They are looking to expand the Finance Team in the Plymouth Office. The Finance Officer will report to a Finance Team Leader and will be responsible for the accurate recording and reporting of all financial transactions across the whole Society, and will be based in the Plymouth Office
The role will be in the Treasury/ Banking section that particularly focuses on:
- Raising contract and client invoices and debt collection
- Dealing with client queries
- Correct allocation of banking received in relation to fundraising groups
- Accurate and timely completion of bank reconciliations.
- Use of an online banking system
- Opening all incoming post and preparing and recording daily banking
- Processing all types of expenditure and weekly BACS payments
About you
- Experience within a Finance background.
- Confident self-starter.
- Able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a confident approach in dealing with a wide range of colleagues and stakeholders.
- Experience in book-keeping
- Be able to demonstrate strong numeric skills with a methodical approach and a strong attention to detail.
