Dedicate Recruitment is working in partnership with this medium size Multi Academy Trust, consisting of 11 academies including SEND schools, Alternative Provision Academies (PRU's) with one mainstream secondary school.

Due to succession planning, they are now seeking to appoint an exceptional Finance Director to lead on the strategic direction and development of the Trust.
Reporting to the COO, you will have full operational and line management for the finance team of two highly experienced staff, supporting the schools on a combined budget spend of £23M, forecasting and ensuring financial reporting is in accordance with the ESFA guidelines and statutory compliance with the DfE and Company/Charity regulations.
The successful candidate will hold a full accounting qualification coupled with an established career within the SEND/Academy sector. You will be highly knowledge on academy accounting with a key understanding of funding streams in SEND education.
You will oversee the budgets for capital projects, manage the Trust Treasury function and provide full financial statements for year end.
On a personal note, you will possess first class communication skills to support your reporting to the CEO, the Trust Board, Executive Team and Business Managers. You will develop positive relationships naturally at all levels of staff across the Trust and be innovative in bringing out the best in your team and financial processes.
Excellent IT skills are required, knowledge of Access Education Finance is desirable but not essential.
