At Cancer Research UK, we exist to beat cancer.

We are professionals with purpose, beating cancer every day. But we need to go much further and much faster. That's why we're looking for someone talented, someone who shares our vision, someone like you.

We have two exciting roles available to shape the strategy and delivery of cross-channel, mass marketing activity aimed at cultivating ongoing loyalty for Cancer Research UK supporters.

We are lucky to have a substantial database of supporters who have helped us in our commitment to fund world-class advances in the research, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cancer. The Loyalty & Cultivation team looks after the campaigns and journeys which these supporters receive, across multiple channels, to motivate, engage and inspire them to continue their journey with us.

We are looking for an experienced and creative marketer to join the team. You will bring together stakeholders from across the organisation to shape and deliver key strategies and campaigns to inspire and retain supporters across the range of Cancer Research UK products.

What will I be doing?

  • Working with the Insight team and senior managers to drive development of the marketing strategy that inspires, motivates, and retains our audiences.

  • Supporting the Senior Manager to translate the Fundraising & Marketing operating plan and budget into an audience marketing plan and budget.

  • Defining and develop the audiences and product offerings that need activating as part of this marketing plan and manage the development and delivery of cross-channel integrated briefs

  • Managing the planning, set-up, delivery, and analysis of integrated multi-channel campaigns that meet and exceed specific audience KPIs, with particular focus on digital marketing channels including email, SMS, and paid digital channels

  • Managing the content and creative production, testing and optimisation process, ensuring campaign assets are fully aligned with Brand messaging and other communications themes

  • Working alongside the Senior Manager to motivate the Executives and matrix manage specialist teams to deliver activity across channels
