We have an exciting opportunity for a cancer biologist or expert in the immunology of non-transmissible disease to join our friendly, inclusive and welcoming team at the University.

You will be joining a vibrant, multi-disciplinary team, committed to providing high-quality education to our students. This includes inspiring the next generation of biomedical graduates by adopting innovative approaches to teaching, informed by our research, to breed inquisitive thinkers capable of effective decision-making. To be successful in this post you will have:

A track record of excellent research in biomedical sciences and a clear vision of how to establish a viable research programme with us. Experience of teaching and assessment in biosciences, with competent IT skills and effective use of IT for teaching and learning.

As a University and School, we are committed to inclusivity and although the post is a full-time position, we welcome job share or part-time applications to support portfolio working. Further, the School is proud to hold a Silver Athena SWAN award.

We welcome applications from suitably qualified individuals from groups currently under-represented on our staff including from people of colour.

This is a full-time, permanent post and job-sharers are welcome to apply.
