Fio are looking to appoint a dynamic, exciting and passionate leader to join the company as Executive Director. We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference for Global Majority people in Wales, helping to create cultural change. We are interested in people who have a background in the arts, but also those that may be new to this field, and are totally open to radically re-thinking pathways to senior leadership positions.

This is a senior executive position working alongside Fio’s Artistic Director and CEO Sita Thomas. The job requires close collaboration with Fio’s Board to set the strategic direction of the company, to oversee the delivery of its business objectives, and ensure that it thrives both artistically and financially now and in the future. The Executive Director is responsible for the strategic planning and financial stability of the company and leads on all fundraising for the company. The Executive Director will lead the HR function of the company and will share responsibility alongside the Artistic Director for creating a culture internally that inspires and supports all staff, freelancers and participants to flourish in the arts sector in Wales. The Executive Producer reports to Fio’s Board of trustees.
