Horizon Teachers are recruiting for SEN Teaching Assistants to start in September. The school is a new all-age Special Free School for children with autism. The aim of the school is to provide a suitable environment with a high level of therapeutic support and excellent teaching to allow pupils with autism to achieve their full potential and to make the most of their intelligence, focus and skills.

Responsibilities:
·Supporting a mixed class of students 9- 16 year olds who have Autism
·Being proactive in the class to ensure your learning support is tailored to each child's individual need
·Carrying out Behaviour management in line with the schools policies and procedures
·Acting as a role model and being a patient individual
·Supporting the progress of all students as a group or on a 1-2-1 basis
