Recruitment Lead
Salary: £25,809 - £32,394 per annum (pro rata)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full time (37 hours per week)
Location: Ripley, Derbyshire, DE5 3RS
Our client is looking for a dynamic, creative Recruitment Lead to drive their resourcing and attraction strategy, on a permanent basis.
It’s an exciting time to join the organisation; there’s plenty of resourcing change and transformation ongoing as part of their aspiration to build a recruitment centre of excellence, and with this comes the opportunity to really make this role your own.
Leading on Talent Acquisition for two forces, you’ll help to develop their direct sourcing model, attracting talented candidates into non-operational, support staff roles, as well as ensuring that the recruitment methods support their commitments to diversity and inclusion.
As the Recruitment Lead, you’ll be a valued member of the HR Shared Service Centre team, partnering with HR and hiring managers to ensure talent objectives are met through recruitment campaigns and talent attraction strategies, while delivering to relevant KPIs. You will support, develop and manage the Talent Acquisition Advisor, working together to achieve results and ensuring an excellent service.
A key part of your role will be to guide hiring managers to make cost effective resourcing choices every step of the way, delivering the right people at the right time. As an experienced recruiter, you will have the ability to use a range of attraction and direct sourcing practices, including social media platforms and sourcing tools, such as LinkedIn Recruiter. As well as filling live vacancies, you’ll build effective talent pools and engage with potential candidates, especially in hard to fill and specialist areas of the organisation.
Our client welcomes new and innovative ideas; there will be an ongoing need to monitor and report on the effectiveness of individual approaches and campaigns, as they continually develop the talent acquisition strategy to support their recruitment needs.
Previous recruitment experience either an agency or in-house recruitment environment and excellent stakeholder management are both essential to this role. You’ll be passionate and someone who loves a challenge as you meet tight deadlines, build great sustainable relationships and pride yourself on being efficient and organised.
The role will be based in Ripley, Derbyshire, however you will be delivering a recruitment service to two areas. You therefore must be flexible and have the ability to travel regularly within Derbyshire and Leicestershire.
Our client appreciates the importance of work life balance and welfare which is why they implement flexible and agile working practices, including remote working.
If this sounds like the role for you please see the full job description and click to apply (you will be redirected to our clients careers website on clicking apply).
As part of your application, you must provide both a CV and Supporting Statement, stating how you meet the essential/desirable criteria as listed in the job description. Please ensure you provide detailed evidence of your experience in a recruitment position (in-house or agency), within your application
