We’re looking for a someone with a passion for all things brand, digital and PR to work in our Marketing and Communications team in Wales. You’ll be raising awareness of places that we care for and our cause through creating engaging content across a variety of marketing and communications channels, supporting on seasonal campaigns and helping properties get the most out of their channels.

What it's like to work here

Working within Wales’ Marketing and Communications Team as part of the Trust’s wider Consultancy your role will directly support colleagues at the places in our care across South Wales. You’ll work within a team of five and report directly to the Marketing and Communications Consultant for South Wales.

Your contractual place of work will be at a hub in South Wales however this role can be carried out from anywhere in the UK with regular travel a few times a month to Trust places in South Wales.

What you'll be doing

Directly supporting colleagues across South Wales, both within marketing and communications and wider disciplines, you’ll raise awareness of our places, our cause and our relevance with our target audiences, through creating engaging content on a variety of platforms and channels. This role involves delivering content across all National Trust Cymru social media channels.

You will bring your knowledge and energy for creating high quality content and enthusiasm for engagement, monitoring and evaluation. You will always be keen to champion best practise and share your knowledge and experience with others.

You’ll support Wales’ Land, Outdoors and Nature (LON) communications, working with colleagues within the LON network to develop exciting digital content and PR stories which share our conservation work and cause.

Assisting with Wales-wide seasonal campaign development, you’ll work with your marcomms colleagues, property teams, wider Trust and consultancy colleagues to plan and deliver content and campaigns. You’ll also be well-versed in bilingual ways of working and have a good understanding of the approach, its importance and what good bilingual design looks like.
