Operations Director – Sanctuary Supported Living
Competitive Salary plus company car or car allowance
Flexible location with a balance of home and office working, frequent travel to Worcester will be required
35 hours per week
Reporting into the Chief Operating Officer for Commercial within Sanctuary Group, we are recruiting for the key role of Operations Director to provide strategic direction and leadership to Sanctuary Supported living operations, (including supported living, retirement communities and technology enabled living), and to be the Group’s most senior expert in these areas.
Sanctuary Supported Living (SSL) helps people to live independently by providing high quality, registered and non registered specialist support and housing services. We specialise in services for young people, homeless families and individuals, people with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, people with mental health needs and older people. The successful candidate will ensure the provision of safe, high quality, valued and customer focused services to the Group’s customers, including Nominated Person Status for registered services.
The role of Operations Director will include:
- Advise and support Group Directors, business leads and subsidiary Boards, contributing to the business plans and strategies, policy framework and investment planning
- Direct the delivery of high quality and value for money supported living services and support functions to meet the needs of the Group’s clients and the wider community
- Direct the effective management of operations to ensure all CQC, legislative and regulatory requirements for supported living activities are met and to minimise potential risks
- Provide clear and confident direction and line-management to the supported living teams, ensuring an effective organisational culture, safe working and performance focused environment
- Lead and maintain effective control of all contracts and budgets to ensure compliance with all financial policies
- Direct and manage where necessary the procurement of contracts for delivery of the Group’s supported living function, forming new partnerships and extend existing partnerships to secure new business
- Lead the delivery of quality service provision and continuous improvement across housing and support to ensure our services meet the needs of future affordable housing
