SEN Teaching Assistant | Enfield

First-Class Psychology Graduate required for a SEN Teaching Assistant (Mental Health Support) role across KS3 and KS4 in a great Enfield Secondary School.

This great secondary school based in the Enfield borough of London are looking to take on a SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive inclusion team working with students in both KS3 and KS4 to ensure that every student has access to a mainstream education. You will be working on both a 1:1 and small group basis tailoring your approach to guarantee that each student is supported in a personal and caring way. You will be working with students who have Social, Emotional or Mental Health Challenges and this may present challenging behaviours.

This role is a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant for the remaining academic year with the possibility of an extension for the right candidate. Having previous experience working with SEN children or children with challenging behaviour would be an advantage but is not essential. A can-do attitude and the ability to use initiative and communicate confidently will see you excel in this role. You as a SEN Teaching Assistant will be supported by a strong inclusion team and senior leadership team who believe that every child should and will have access to mainstream education.

If you have exposure as a SEN Teaching Assistant or believe you have the capability to support students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEN), this is a great role for you, and we want to hear from you today.
