Computer Science teaching role in Dagenham.

Rate: £160 - £240 per day depending on experience.

Your new company
Secondary Ofsted rated 'Good' School based in Dagenham, North East London are looking for a strong teacher of Computer Science who can deliver lessons to KS3 and KS5. You will have the opportunity to work with an already highly reputable school and join a performing Computer Science department. This position is to start mid-September and last until the end of the Academic year.


Your new role
Starting mid - September, you will be responsible for teaching Computer Science across KS3 to KS5. As this is a long-term assignment, you will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, as well as completing the subsequent marking and assessment of pupils' work, ensuring all pupils are progressing well within the classroom.

This role will also require you to ensure all behaviour is appropriate and that pupils are achieving to the best of their ability. As this is a long-term position, you will also be required to attend parents' evenings and other school functions.


What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess Qualified Teacher Status and have relevant experience of teaching Computer Science across KS3, KS4 and KS5. You must be available to start mid-September and ideally be able to work through to July 2023, with a real passion and drive to provide a high quality of teaching and therefore contribute to the overall success of the department. Highly advantageous if you hold DBS certificate on update service.
