Description
Prospectus is excited to be supporting our client, a leading London University in their search for a temporary Business Manager to the Director of Development. The post will start on a hybrid full time working basis, of two days onsite and the other three days remote. At the moment this post is confirmed for a month, with the potential to extend until the end of December.
The role will sit within the Fundraising and Supporter Development department at the University. You will be working closely with the Director and other members of the leadership team, overseeing projects to ensure the Directorate delivers against targets and objectives as agreed with funding partners and also contributes more broadly to the success of the Department. This post will also work closely with the Director's EA providing support to ensure that the Director is fully supported across all aspects of their agenda. You will juggle priorities, work to tight deadlines, communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and negotiate projects with strong attention to detail.
As part of this role, you will be responsible for Management of specific projects for the Director of Development, including tracking progress against targets, preparing reports for internal and external committees; developing presentations for team meetings; development of project plans; and communication on progress to key stakeholders. The post holder will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of the fundraising strategies and will be required to act as programme manager for the Director of Development working closely with Heads of teams.
To be considered for this post, you will need to have previous experience of working in a large, complex organisation and have provided executive support to senior staff and coordinated projects. You will have previous Project Management experience, although this does not need to include formal project management training, but you will need to demonstrate how you have led and delivered projects including multiple stakeholders successfully.
This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with a high performing and successful fundraising department, coordinating the key players to ensure that their work is delivered to the very best standards.
Please note that this is a temporary role to start as soon as possible, so you will need to be available immediately or at very short notice in order to be considered.
