Wilds Lodge School is an independent boarding and day provision for students aged between 5 and 19 with special educational needs, set in Empingham, Rutland. Job role
Science has a strong profile in the school from Key Stage 3 through to Key Stage 5 and has been very successful in the transition to the new more challenging curriculum. We are looking for an enthusiastic specialist who will be able to deliver Science up to GCSE double award and work with pupils with a wide range of ability levels. This role would be suitable for both ECTs and experienced Teachers.
Regardless of experience the successful candidate will have the ability to embrace the inclusive therapeutic culture and ethos of the school. A strong commitment to raising achievement and standards is required along with an informed and creative approach to curriculum delivery. The opportunity to teach another relevant subject may be available to an interested candidate.
Requirements
• Hold qualified teacher status (QTS) or have recent experience of teaching 11-18 year olds.
• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of teachers.
• Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan & deliver inspiring and creative lessons.
• Be committed to raising standards across all Key Stages
