Conference and Events Operations Manager
Salary (i.e. University of Leeds grade 6 (£28,762 - £34,308 p.a.)
An opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic and growing Conference and Events team, at an exciting time for the service, with new venues and initiatives being launched over the next year. We offer a range of venues and event management products and pride ourselves on providing a world-class, friendly and professional service. You will be responsible for the management, organisation and delivery of conferences, events and hospitality to internal and external customers at the University of Leeds.
To be successful in this role, you will have at least three years of event management experience, strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail. You will have the ability to motivate, manage, and develop various event staff, as well as have the ability to deliver new initiatives to improve service delivery. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop positive working relationships and influence key stakeholders.

During busy event periods, you will be required to provide support during weekends, early morning and evenings; 5 over 7 days. Otherwise, the working pattern is typical office hours and is based on-site at the University of Leeds campus.
