Benefits:
Charity People are delighted to have partnered with a briliant literacy charity in their search for a Trusts and Foundations Manager. This is a lovely role in a supportive, collaborative fundraising team.
This literacy charity was founded in 2011. The charity has developed reading and writing programmes for children who have fallen behind at school. They support children and work to increase their self esteem as learners and their ability to keep going when their schoolwork gets tough.
They now have 2 learning centres (ships) and during the Covid pandemic they set sail on the virtual seas developing online learning to enable them to reach more children needing support.
We are looking for an experienced Trusts and Foundations Manager. You may be an officer looking to step up into a role that has more responsibility. Trusts and Foundations account for two-thirds of the charity's income and they have a strategic plan to further develop this portfolio.
You'll work as part of a small, friendly and ambitious team who are really passionate about supporting children with fewer advantages to develop vital skills and succeed in school and beyond.
You'll be required to take ownership of your portfolio and be outcome focused. You'll need to be an excellent writer with strong attention to detail, with the abilty to build relationships with funders.
