About the Role:

This is a brand-new, exciting and unique opportunity, part of a new organisational structure and development of the fundraising team.

First up, you'll develop and influence your own fundraising strategy with the freedom and ownership to be bold, brave and try new things, leading a talented team of specialist fundraisers.

You'll nurture established philanthropic and corporate relationships, develop new ones, and work closely with the CEO and Board to embed a fundraising culture. You'll also diversify and consolidate fundraised income across the wider fundraising mix.

The perfect combination of strategy, leadership and hands-on fundraising.

About you:

  • You may be currently acting as Head of Fundraising / Senior Manager, or up-and-coming major relationships fundraiser (philanthropy or corporate) looking for your next career move.
  • You've got a personal track-record of securing significant funds through relationship-led fundraising, working upwards of five figures.
  • You draw on strong negotiation skills, a head for strategy, and a confident approach.
  • You're an empowering and enabling leader who elevates and energises their team, providing a nurturing environment for people to grow and flourish.
  • Most importantly, you're a resilient, determined and passionate individual - with the ability to articulate the vision of our client, generate interest from the local business community and build lasting and fruitful relationships with patrons and funders.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the Senior Management Team, helping to create a long-lasting legacy for young people of Warrington.
