Care worker - Special Needs Residential School - Colchester, Essex.

This job role allows you to have long weekends, no work commitments in the day and school holidays off.

  • Monday - Thursday 21.45pm-7.20am (including a short break),
  • Term Time only.
  • £17,769 actual starting salary per annum (equivalent of £10.81 per hour)
  • Fully funded training (NVQ Level 3 Residential Care)
  • Students aged 5-18
  • Colchester, Essex
  • Due to the age of residents you must be 22 years +

This newly opened residential unit in Colchester are continuing to expand, and are now looking for the right person to join their team. Attached to a Special Educational Needs School in Colchester your role will be as follows;

  • Liaising with daytime staff, helping to settle children who are still awake.
  • Reading bed time stories
  • Reassuring children who wake in the night
  • Providing morning routine
  • Opportunity to study while children are sleeping.
