Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Are you able to deliver phonics lessons and provide a high level of support to children?
Are you interested to work in a school that offers CPD and Career development opportunities?
A lovely school, based in Walthamstow are looking for an experienced HLTA to join their team this September until July 2023. The school is on the Victoria Line and extremely well connect by bus routes from North London. If you are a HLTA looking for a new challenge this could be the perfect role for you!
Experience covering lessons is desirable and have a minimum of 6 months experience working within a primary education setting. You must feel confident within a classroom environment and be able to successfully deliver lessons (no planning required).
High Level Teaching Assistant:
• Have previous experience teaching phonics as a TA/HLTA
• Be able to support the classroom teacher and teach small groups
• Have worked as a HLTA or taught Phonics as teaching assistant in a primary school previously
• Confident to cover whole classes where work has been set and teachers are absent
