There is no better time to start a career within Teaching than now!
If you would like to build a career that gives you genuine sense of achievement and fulfilment knowing that you can have a positive impact on young people, then look no further and apply today!
TimePlan Education are looking for ambitious, energetic and committed people who will help expand the learning experiences of the children at this Greenwich-based school. This role is full-time and permanent for the right candidate. Part-time and temporary options are also on offer.
We are seeking a motivated, skilled and resilient Unqualified Teacher who displays a strong interest in supporting young people with social, emotional and mental health difficulties along with autism. The chosen candidate will demonstrate energy, enthusiasm and the ability to build rapport quickly.
The successful candidate will be teaching and supporting young people who may have autism, emotional behavioural difficulties, ADHD and associated complex needs.
This role would suit someone who has a passion for working with young people. It's also a perfect way to see if teaching could be a career for you!
You don't need any particular qualifications to apply but some experience of working with young people is preferred. If you don't have any experience then training can be provided. What is essential though, is a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Ideally the successful candidate will have the following characteristics:
- Communication - Communicating with young people is vital to understand their needs. Good teamwork and communication plays a key part in ensuring important information is relayed to other staff.
- Organisation - Ideally, you will have experience of organising and planning well-structured activities for young people or adults. You will also be able to demonstrate how you tailor these activities to the needs of the pupils; adapting to respond to the strengths and needs of each learner.
- Caring - The young people you will work with require the best care you can offer. If you are a naturally caring and compassionate person, this is the role for you.
- Attentive - No two tasks will be the same so being attentive to understand the needs of the young people you support is vital
