Part-time, Casual Contract

8:30 to 1:00, 1:00 – 5:00 as required

Reporting to the Examinations Officer, the successful candidate will invigilate mock examinations (January and February) and Public examinations (May to June) in accordance with JCQ instructions for conducting examinations.

The Applicant Information Pack is available on our website, but the main responsibilities include:

• Experience of invigilation is not required as training in the role and duties of an invigilator will be provided
• Invigilators are required to confirm their availability in advance of main examination periods
• Invigilators must confirm the confidentiality and security requirements surrounding the invigilation process are known, understood and will be followed at all times

Specific Duties:

• To conduct examinations in accordance with the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ), awarding body and Berkhamsted School regulations and instructions
• To have a key role in upholding the integrity and security of the examination/assessment process
