We are working with a school based in Maidstone who are looking for a Food Technology Teacher on a long term basis to start as soon as possible. The position will be on a part time basis and will require a qualified teacher who can teach across KS3 - KS4. This position is also open to ECT's as well as experienced candidates.

You will be joining a very strong department who are highly experienced within their specialists. As a qualified Food Technology Teacher you will be able to create and teach outstanding lessons that will motivate and encourage students to learn and engage in the classroom.

Ideal candidate will have :

• Strong subject knowledge
• Excellent classroom management skills
• The ability to plan and delivery good to outstanding lessons
• Good communication skills
• A passion for teaching
• The ability to display progression in class

Candidates must hold a recognised teaching qualification ie. PGCE or BEd with QTS.

You must demonstrate excellent communication skills, a fantastic knowledge of the Curriculum and possess the ability to settle quickly into classroom environments. You will be working alongside a great team of teachers and school support staff who will support you when needed.
