Admin Assistant / Finance Officer – Modern Primary School – September 2022
An impressive, modern primary school in Ealing are looking for an Admin Assistant / Finance Officer to join them ASAP on a permanent basis.
The ideal Admin Assistant / Finance Officer will have experienced with Finance, HR and budgeting, ideally within a school environment.
Previous Admin Assistant / Finance Officer experience in a school isn’t 100% essential. Candidates with transferrable experience from the private or public sector are still urged to apply, i.e leadership and management experience in finance and HR etc
This Admin Assistant / Finance Officer position is a full-time, permanent position, working just 35 hours per week and during term time only!

- Admin Assistant / Finance Officer Modern, newly built primary school Popular school in the local community with excellent resources Located in Ealing, close to Hammersmith Responsible for Finance, Human Resources, Personnel, Premises and Health & Safety management, Lettings, ICT Systems Management, Catering, Marketing, Procurement/Contracts, Admin, Compliance and Line management duties of admin staff. Full time, permanent contract £33k – 35k depending on experience ASAP start date
In-depth responsibilities for this Admin Assistant / Finance Officer role:
- To provide efficient management and administration of school finances, personnel and other administrative functions determined by the Headteacher. To organise, support and line manage office team. To perform all financial inputting and administration of school finances using FSM, SIMS Liaise closely with the council Bursarial Support team and school budget outsource team To manage the school’s unofficial fund and liaise with appropriate officers. Produce monthly budget monitoring reports To support the work of the Headteacher and the Senior Leadership Team. To support the extended schools’ provision within the school To be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school
