WBS Global Alumni has a community of over 53,000 members living all over the world. More than 60% of WBS alumni population live overseas and therefore it is essential that we meet the needs of our alumni population all over the globe.
To be effective you will need experience and a proven track record of success in the delivery of university level career services or the management of a corporate recruitment programme, with a focus towards post graduate, senior executive alumni. A capable leader and strong team player, you will have a demonstrable ability to plan strategically and operationally; excellent organisational and project management skills; and a passion to support and coach our alumni to help them achieve their personal career goals. You should be able to build strong and enduring relationships with a diverse group of graduating students and alumni, academics and corporate practitioners.

Job Purpose
To lead the effective design, development and delivery of world-class career and professional development services, both group and individually based, for WBS alumni, ensuring high quality provision to equip them with the career management skills required to maximise their employability and career potential over their lifetimes.
To ensure that careers and professional development is embedded appropriately across WBS and reflects global career trends and employability requirements of recruitment partners.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. To work with WBS alumni to design and develop creative career management and professional development solutions that will equip them with the tools and strategies to compete effectively within the global market.
2. To support the career development of WBS graduates, delivering careers provision in a variety of formats including 1:1 guidance and coaching, group activities and E-Learning as appropriate to employability and professional development needs. This will include working with faculty colleagues to map careers and professional development inputs appropriately to academic programmes and identifying opportunities for students to underpin their skill development with practical application and experiential learning.
3. Where appropriate, select and proactively manage the performance and quality of executive coaching and skills workshops by external providers, ensuring that these are contracted in a way that supports the University’s procurement guidelines and provides optimum value for money.
