Prospectus are excited to be working with the Fields in Trust to recruit a Senior Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser to join their team. Fields in Trust is an independent charity with over 90 years' experience protecting parks and green spaces. They work with landowners, community groups and policy makers to champion the value of our parks and green spaces to achieve better protection for their future at both local and national level.

This role is offered on a 0.8FTE (4 days/week) permanent basis with a salary of £33,000 to £35,000 per annum pro rata and with flexible hybrid working arrangements at their London office.

The post holder will report to the Head of Fundraising and will generate income from new and existing trusts and foundations, with an aspirational target of £390k in 2022. They will develop and manage the Trusts funding pipeline by investing in thorough research and relationship cultivation. The post holder will manage their individual and organisational membership schemes and have the opportunity to assess their ability to apply to lottery and/or statutory funding sources.

They are looking for someone with a demonstratable track record of raising 5& 6 figure funds from grants, including major gifts, from charitable trusts and other funders. They are looking for a candidate with demonstratable experience of researching prospective trusts & foundations and knowledge of both online and offline resources/techniques. The ideal candidate will have a background in health and wellbeing, environment, community development or volunteer sectors
