SEN Teaching Assistant

Are you looking for a full-time opportunity to work in a Primary school, within the multi diverse community of Tower Hamlets as an SEN Teaching assistant?

Do you have experience supporting pupils with learning difficulties?

A lovely primary school with a community feel, based in Tower Hamlets is recruiting for a strong SEN TA to start in September 2022.

The role:

You will be responsible for assisting a year 3 child with Autism supporting him 1:1 academically. This role which calls for the expertise of a confident and proactive individual with existing experience supporting children with SEN, specifically Autsim.

Teaching assistant:

• Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant and worked with SEN
• An understanding of challenging behaviour
• Strong communication, literacy and numeracy skills is desirable
• Have good behaviour management skills
