Wellcome is a global charitable foundation. We improve health for everyone by funding science, leading policy and advocacy campaigns, and building partnerships.
We plan to spend £16bn over the next ten years, funding new discoveries in life, health and wellbeing, and taking on three global health challenges: mental health, infectious disease and climate.
These challenges need the bold science we support, but they won't be solved by science alone. The Talent Acquisition team play a key role in achieving these challenges not only by sourcing and attracting the right talent but ensuring our recruitment processes are inclusive and maximise candidate and manager experience.
We have an exciting opportunity to shape the Talent Acquisition team as Wellcome embarks on its new strategy, in this role you will not only manage the end to end recruitment process but will have the opportunity to work on and lead on some exciting recruitment initiatives.
In this role you will:
Manage the end to end recruitment in key areas of Wellcome ensuring a seamless candidate and manager experience
Create an engaging and inclusive recruitment process including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers and feedback
Coach and support managers through the full recruitment process advising on process and best practice
Work closely with the wider Talent team and People Partners on internal talent retention and career progression
Contribute to the Talent Acquisition strategy including leading on key projects
Working as part of a blended Talent team you will have the opportunity to input directly into the overall team strategy. We are looking for a resilient and agile recruitment professional who can manage stakeholders at all levels and partner closely with managers to deliver an outstanding recruitment service attracting the best talent to Wellcome. To be successful in this role you will have:
Proven experience leading and delivering end to end internal recruitment within a complex organisation
The ability to manage multiple vacancies including creating strategies to source and attract candidates for niche/specialist roles
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Knowledge of inclusive recruitment practices and how to improve diversity and inclusion in recruitment
