Prospectus is excited to be working with our client to recruit a new Trusts Fundraising Manager to join their expanding team. The organisation is a global charity with the objective and purpose of providing veterinary care to working animals, including donkeys, horses, elephants and camels. Our client's mission is to transform the welfare of working animals in low-income countries. It aims to support working animals' welfare through a combination of treatment, training and teaching.

This role is offered on a full-time permanent basis with a salary of circa £40,000 per annum with flexible hybrid working arrangements at their London office or the option of being home-based.

The post holder will drive the development and delivery of the organisation's trusts and foundations programme. They will be responsible for the generation of income from charitable trusts and foundations, as well as multilateral and statutory sources. The post holder will develop new and existing relationships with trusts through exemplary stewardship (feedback reports, mailings, phone calls, face to face, etc) to maximise long term income, secure new sources of funding, upgrade existing levels of giving, repeat donations and multi-year funding. They will Provide the Senior Trusts Fundraising Officer with clear, collaborative and supportive line management, that maximises staff performance and wellbeing.

They are looking for someone with a demonstratable knowledge of trusts and statutory fundraising principles and practices, including in an international development environment/context. They are looking for a candidate with demonstratable experience of working in a fundraising management role or equivalent, with a track record of developing and maintaining relationships with partners and/or potential supporters that ultimately generate income. The ideal candidate will uphold and adhere to SPANA's core values.
