We all know there is a cost of lving crisis associated with energy prices and Bridgend County Borough Council isn’t immune to the impact of rising energy bills. The Energy Contracts Manager for Bridgend County Borough Council is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a thirst for saving money, saving resources and saving the planet.

You will manage, co-ordinate and advise the Council and all its departments on:

Procuring energy, especially from sustainable sources.

Manage the corporate energy policy

Review energy, carbon and water management practices

Oversee our statutory requirements on Display Energy Certificates

Partnership and engagement with utility companies.

Bridgend County Borough Council has the target of being Net Zero Carbon by 2030 and this important position is central to this target.
