A unique opportunity to lead Hatfield Park’s leisure and hospitality enterprise and build on its reputation as premier visitor destination. The business, which sits within the wider, much respected Hatfield Estate, requires an ambitious and versatile leader to deliver on the multitude of exciting opportunities that lie ahead.

THE POSITION

  • Assume full day to day responsibility for the successful delivery of all aspects of the leisure and hospitality business that builds on the Estate’s wider commercial, environmental and social aspirations.
  • In collaboration with the Estate Director, devise and execute a strategy that will enhance Hatfield Park’s reputation as place to live, work, meet and relax whilst ensuring strong financial controls and robust data analytics.
  • Lead an experienced and passionate team and ensure best in class systems and processes are in place to enable the smooth delivery of all aspects of the operation.
  • Act as an ambassador for the business to ensure positive working relationships with the local and wider community. Manage external stakeholders including commercial partners, consultants and local authority representatives where appropriate.

THE CANDIDATE

  • Charismatic, inspirational and entrepreneurially minded with a track record in delivering sustainable growth.
  • Strategic, creative and analytical with an understanding of historic environments and placemaking.
  • Strong leadership qualities, as well as possessing the self-awareness and humility to negotiate successful outcomes for key stakeholders.
  • Energetic, tenacious and hands-on with a meticulous attention to detail. Committed team player with excellent communication skills.
