WANTED! Community Activation Manager to drive brand awareness, membership growth and lead generation amongst SMEs

Our client works across retail, foodservice and healthcare. As a not for profit membership body, the work they do is essential to the standardising of trading goods globally and supporting businesses to ensure they maximise their sales and profits by using the correct technology. It's a fascinating business with ambitious growth plans.
This is a permanent job but our client would also consider a freelancer who's available straight away or a T2P contract.
THE ROLE
As Community Activation Manager you will
- drive membership growth through the activation of strategic community partnerships
- work with cross-functional teams to grow membership from community partnerships
- grow UK brand awareness by increasing its relevance for small business communities through targeted networking and collaboration
- deliver agreed marketing programmes and ensure effective implementation of community partner plans
- support the partnerships by representing the business in the delivery of industry events.
YOU
The successful candidate will have
- experience of working in a small business, or with SMEs and have a sound understanding of the SME Growth lifecycle
- experience of either working in, or supplying to, the retail and marketplace sector
- a track record of working effectively across diverse teams (e.g. solutions, marketing, consulting or technical/ information systems).
As well as having excellent project management skills and partnership marketing experience, you will be adept at marketing campaign delivery, customer focused, engaging, and target and achievement driven with first-class communication skills.
